MANAGER, CHELAN COUNTY PUD
Mountain biking, trail running
Our family, (my wife Caiti, and kids Maya, Gabe & Cadel) truly loves the Wenatchee Valley's outdoor options. Whether it's summer mountain biking, trail running, hiking, fishing, backpacking; or winter downhill, Nordic or back country skiing, sledding or snowball fights we are all happiest out of doors. I have many other hobbies but my true passion is competing in Ironman distance triathlons. My family and friends advise that I need help for this addiction but there is nothing quite like a 4:30 a.m. trail run with the sun coming up in the backdrop as therapy.
There are many reasons I want to serve on the Board. I see the possibilities and opportunities in outdoor recreation that have been building for the last 25 to 30 years- opportunities that could bring economic growth and leave our incredible resources intact for generations to come. Simply - to give back and ensure we can all enjoy our natural resources.

I am a Wenatchee native, as is my wife, Heather. We returned home after college in 1997 and spend a great deal of time and energy devoted to gradual and thoughtful economic development of the region that is founded in a deep love of this place. We love traveling, listening to and performing music, remodeling our home in the Grandview Historic District, and dabbling in local political campaigns.
To assist in carefully developing the region’s outdoor recreation opportunities, balancing recreation and conservation, while maintaining our communities character.

Trail running, backpacking, AT skiing, and horse camping
My husband Cy and I grew up in the Wenatchee Valley, and we are happy to be back in the community we grew up in with our trail-loving dog Remi. I love traveling, live comedy, and trying new sports. I also love to share the outdoors with others, but one of my favorite ways to enjoy the trails is solo backpacking.
I'm passionate about nature and trails, and I believe everyone should have access to a trail area where they can safely enjoy their chosen sport. I'm committed to helping TREAD connect different trail users together to better build, manage, and conserve these natural spaces that are so important to our community. Trails are for everyone!
Not consecutively, but 22 years with college and graduate school in between.

Trail running, fast packing
I’m married with 2 boys and we all enjoy the diversity of outdoor pursuits in the Wenatchee Valley. I’m a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan, and a passionate Wenatchee Lacrosse fan.
I feel that we are at a very important place in our Valley’s trail design and development and I want to be a part of that, shaping our future for years to come.

RECREATION FACILITATOR AT DOGHOUSE MOTORSPORTS/ WENATCHEE HONDA
Off-road motorcycle riding, hiking, hunting, bicycling, skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling,
I have been a life-long motorcycle rider since the age of 8. That passion took me to professional off-road racing. I was fortunate to race all over the Western US and down into Mexico. I am now sharing this passion with my wife and two daughters. In addition to motorcycles, we take advantage of all four seasons this valley has to offer. One of our favorite places to go in the winter is the Badger Mountain Ski Hill and in the summer we love biking the Loop Trail.
I was fortunate to be raised by parents that were huge outdoor enthusiasts. They taught me to cherish the outdoors and leave it better than I found it. My hope for TREAD is to work together as a community to develop outdoor recreation opportunities for all motorized and non-motorized users and to carry on the tradition my folks taught me, to leave our valley better than we found it.
Coulee Riders Motorcycle Club, Bavarian Boondocker Snowmobile Club, and many years of volunteer service for the Okanogan/Wenatchee National Forest. My family is also actively involved in 4H Club, hockey, basketball, and school functions.

Backpacking and climbing
I moved to Wenatchee in April of 2017 and fell in love with this area and all things outdoor rec. I've always loved being outside, exploring and hiking but since I've moved here I became really interested in backpacking, climbing, trail running, and mountain biking. It's hard to make time for all of the activities I love but I don't know how to narrow it down! And these activities are always more fun with my two dogs.
I want to provide education on our trail systems, ethics, sustainability, and conservation. I want so see all trail users come together to help build a trail system that works for all.

Alpine skiing, skate skiing, mountain biking, trail running, road biking, hiking.
Raised in East Wenatchee, traveled with a variety of jobs, but always ended up back at home. Love all things outdoors as well as good food, good wine and spending time with friends.
I want to help grow and sustain the outdoor opportunities that this amazing valley has to offer, for all who wish to embark on the adventure.

Hiking, Backpacking, Paddleboarding
My wife Amanda and I got married in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in 2020. I am originally from Maine, but fell in love with this area from the first time I saw it. After some adventures around the country and world we decided to settle here in the Valley, and immerse ourselves in this wonderful community. For work, I am a part-time CPA at a local accounting firm, Cordell Neher & Company, PLLC and an avid stock trader. During my free time I like to spend as much time outdoors and with friends as possible. Some of my favorite activities are: hiking, camping, paddleboarding, pickleball, softball, basketball, gardening, rafting, boardgames, Wim Hof breathing, yoga, and much more. Any day that is finished by a campfire and sleeping in a tent I’d consider a success, even when I’m home I’d rather sleep in the yard than my house.
As a relatively new resident of the Valley, I continue to be blown away by what an amazing and welcoming community resides here. I am excited to be able to give back to the community and help TREAD expand and grow as the organization continues to help with development of local recreation and trail systems. I hope to be able to do my part so current residents, visitors and future generations of the Valley are able to experience the joy of being under the sun in the great outdoors than I’ve been so fortunate to get to experience myself.
Wenatchee Valley Pickleball, volunteering at local farms, especially Easley Farms.
Trail running, ski touring, rock climbing, mountain scrambles
My front yard is a vegetable garden. At last count I had 52 house plants. My fridge is stocked with seven varieties of hot sauce.
Reason for serving on the TREAD Board: Trails are one of the biggest assets of any community. I want to do everything I can to improve access and preserve them.
